Don't Tell My Child Artbook
A collection of artwork by parents x artists.
Creating art from my internal chaos is a profoundly cathartic process for me, and soon after becoming a parent, I began longing to see the creative output from other artists who took on that same path of becoming a parent. Was it just as fraught for them? Where was their joy? Where was their pain?
This project was born from my own desire to seek out the work of other parents for my own curiosity, but it grew with my belief in the power of stories and art to create beauty out of chaos.
From an ex-long haul trucker in California to a fountain pen-lover in Hong Kong, the pieces in this book give a glimpse into the mind of creative mothers and fathers around the world.
Featuring artwork by:
Kitty Liang (painting)
Rebecca Kling (poem)
Luke Chitwood (short story)
Valerie Prosper Imparato (painting)
Avery Reed (illustration)
Bianca van der Meulen (poem)
Justin Ho (illustration)
