mara CD

$10.00

Mara’s debut album (released in 2013), this record includes 12 songs produced with six-time grammy award winner Jamie Lawrence. Mara met Jamie in her final year at NYU, where he was a guest teacher at a class that Mara would frequently bring her original songs into. Mara and Jamie playfully developed these songs in his studio on 26th Street over two years, and one of the tracks, Ready, was later featured in the TV show One Life To Live, while Mara’s live performance of the song, I Want To Love You, won her a Performance Of The Year award at another TV show, The Works, in Hong Kong.

Fun fact: Mara played all the ukulele parts in this album.
